PLANNING YOUR WEDDING TRIP

ARRIVALS and ACCOMODATION

We’re so excited that you’re all travelling to the beautiful Hunter Valley to celebrate with us! We will be staying at The Sienna from the 21st-23rd of October and we have provided a list of accomodation options for you in the area that will be on the bus route for the wedding day.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT at THE SIENNA - 21st October

We will be hosting a Welcome Dinner on Wednesday the 21st of October from 5pm-10pm at The Sienna. Just a casual dinner to welcome you all to the wedding! The dress code is Cocktail Garden Party. Please note you will need to provide your own transport to and from the venue this evening.

BREAKFAST OPTIONS THURSDAY/FRIDAY

Luskintyre where The Sienna is doesn’t offer many options for breakfast and dining but here are a few places you can go on the morning of the wedding we recommend for a bite.

Restaurant Cuvee, The Deck Lovedale, Jimmy Joans and Flock and Fork are some nice options to explore. They might require a little drive but enjoy the scenery and slow down.

WEDDING DAY - Thursday 22nd October

We have organised a bus that will pick up guests on a designated route to The Sienna on the day of the wedding. Times will be provided closer to the date and this will also be for dropping you home at the end of the night. If you do want to drive there is plenty of onsite parking.

RECOVERY LUNCH AND SWIM - Friday 23rd October

After a big night, the best way to end this week will be washing away our sins in the ocean so we invite you to join us at Patonga on the Central Coast for a casual lunch and swim as we head back to Sydney.

Your presence means the world to us and we don’t need any gifts. However, if you should wish to contribute, we will have a wishing well at our reception where any contributions will go toward our honeymoon.

We would love to see all your photos you take on the day\e just ask that the ceremony will be device free.

GETTING THERE

Luskintyre is about a 2-2.5 hour drive from Sydney. Just head straight up the M1!

The Sienna is a bit remote in relation to some of the other towns in the area but everything is about a 15-20 minute drive nearby.

ACCOMMODATION

For your stay in The Hunter Valley, there are many options for accommodation at different price points.

We’ll be staying at The Sienna where the ceremony will be taking place but pretty much all accommodation is a 20 minute or less drive to the venue. Please see below for a full range of accommodation options.

FAQ

  • Please RSVP by 1st June so we can have an accurate headcount.

  • The dress code for our wedding is Black-Tie. For men, opt for a black suit or tuxedo with a black bow tie or black tie. Think very classic old Hollywood.

For women, long floor-length gowns, elegant garden party vibe! Bring some colour and fun to the event.

If you want to read more about what black-tie means (and see some ideas for inspiration), click here.

  • For guests who have received an invitation with a "+1," you are welcome to bring a date to join in the celebration. However, please note that our guest list is carefully curated, and we kindly ask that only those with a designated "+1" on their invitation bring a guest. We hope you understand our desire to keep our celebration intimate and special.

  • We regret that we won't be able to accommodate children at the venue. We appreciate your understanding in helping us create the atmosphere we've envisioned for our special day.

  • In October, Luskintyre typically enjoys mild and pleasant weather. Expect cooler evenings with temperatures averaging 12-14º. While daytime temperatures can be warmer (averaging 23-25º), it's a good idea to prepare for cooler evenings. For our night event, we recommend wearing a jacket or a shawl however the reception will be indoors.

  • Your presence means the world to us and we kindly request no gifts. Should you wish to contribute, we’ll share further details on that closer to the date.
